Dance Enthusiast and Educator

Krishnendu’s journey began with a graduation in classical dance forms from the esteemed Kerala Kalamandalam Deemed University of Arts and Culture, Cheruthuruthy, a period that laid the foundation for her dance prowess. Her pursuit of excellence led her to complete her post-graduation in Mohiniyattam from RLV College of Music and Fine Arts, Tripunithura, further enriching her artistic palette.

Inspiring the Dance World

With over a decade of experience in various classical dance forms, Krishnendu’s achievements have been nothing short of remarkable. As an accomplished dancer, she has graced prestigious stages across India and beyond, mesmerising audiences with her captivating performances. Her collaboration with revered mentors like Guru Nirmala Panicker, Smt. Geetha Padma Kumar, and Kalakshetra Sheejith Krishna have refined her skills and deepened her understanding of the art form.

Shaping Futures through Dance

Krishnendu’s journey goes beyond her own achievements – her heart lies in the realm of education. Her role as an educator is defined by her ability to assess, inspire, and elevate the dance skills of her students. Whether it’s conducting rigorous training sessions, instilling flexibility and mobility, or fostering enthusiasm in young learners, Krishnendu’s dedication shines through.

From Kerala to the World

Her artistic journey has taken her to international platforms as well. Krishnendu’s judging role for district, sub-district, and international school competitions have showcased her expertise and contributed to the growth of aspiring dancers. She was also a pivotal part of the Guinness World Record-winning dance program ‘1001 Chilankakal,’ an achievement that reflects her commitment to the art and its broader impact.

Beyond Dance

Beyond her enchanting performances and skillful teaching, Krishnendu is a seeker of knowledge. When she’s not immersed in dance, she indulges her love for reading and is dedicated to enhancing various life skills.

Family and Legacy

Krishnendu’s journey is woven into the fabric of family. She is the devoted wife of Kalamandalam Subin Raj, an Accompanying Artist at Sree Sankaracharya University, Kalady. Together, they nurture their young son, Drupadh Krishna, whose presence brings joy and inspiration to her life.

Krishnendu Nair’s life story is a celebration of dance, education, and artistic dedication. With her graceful movements and profound teachings, she continues to touch lives and inspire countless individuals on their own artistic journeys.

The academy offers regular monthly sessions, private sessions and arrange team sessions to kids and adults.
